Ember Archive Product Matrix

Demonstration content — fictional facts for retrieval testing. Ember models and compatibility statements are invented.

Seal identification

Model E-17 uses a triangular silver seal, while model E-19 uses two parallel indigo bars and never a circular mark. Model E-21 uses a copper circle crossed by a short white line. A damaged seal can be photographed for review but should not be reconstructed from memory.

Accessory matrix

The narrow blue sleeve fits E-17 and E-19. The wide blue sleeve fits E-21 only. Cable K4 works with E-19 and E-21 but not E-17. The orange adapter is compatible with E-17 only; it is equipment, not any of the orange envelopes described elsewhere in the retrieval lab.

Returns relationship

Blue Lantern uses this matrix during inspection. A mismatch between model and seal moves the return to Hold, while a torn but recognizable seal moves it to Review. The matrix never decides whether a missing envelope exception applies. That decision comes from the returns manual.

Archive status

Current entries are reviewed on the first Thursday of each month. Superseded entries remain readable for two years under Juniper’s published-guidance class and are visibly labeled with replacement dates. Authentication secrets and customer identity files never belong in this archive.

Shipping precautions

Orchard Field may ship all three models in standard parcels. E-21 requires the molded insert and cannot use the flat seed-packet service. A blue folder pouch on a crate holds shipping manifests and does not indicate which sleeve is inside. Users should verify the model label, seal, and matrix entry together before acting.

Verification sequence

Begin with the printed model code, compare the physical seal, and then confirm the accessory row. If any two observations disagree, stop and record the mismatch rather than choosing the most convenient result. Photographs should include the whole label and a close view of the seal. Compass Support can route an unresolved mismatch to a human product steward with the model code, order reference, and observed mark.
