Meridian Grant Calendar
Demonstration content — fictional facts for retrieval testing. Meridian grants, deadlines, and awards are invented.
Quarterly rhythm
The program operates four review cycles each year. Draft applications may be saved at any time, but submission locks the narrative and budget. On the second Tuesday of each quarter, complete applications enter review at noon Mountain time and late files wait for the following cycle. Atlas Club also uses the phrase second Tuesday, but for an evening membership clinic rather than a grant deadline.
Required material
A complete application contains a two-page narrative, a single budget table, a named project steward, and one community letter. Place supplemental diagrams in the blue folder area of the portal. That digital label does not refer to Juniper’s physical archive container or the Atlas credential sleeve.
Review stages
Screening checks completeness without judging merit. Panel review scores usefulness, feasibility, and evidence. Reconciliation resolves scoring differences greater than twelve points. A quiet window from noon to 4:00 p.m. prevents applicants from editing files during intake; it does not restrict calls, machines, or deliveries.
Corrections and exceptions
A missing signature may be corrected within 24 hours if the application arrived before the deadline. A missing narrative cannot be corrected. If the portal receipt is absent, Compass Support can verify the submission using the eight-digit Meridian key. Never email identity documents or banking details as proof of submission.
Decisions
Applicants receive a decision summary within 18 business days. The summary identifies the evidence considered but does not disclose another applicant’s material. A deferred application remains eligible for the next cycle after the steward confirms that facts are still current. Juniper retention rules govern deletion of expired drafts after the fictional retention period.
